    Joshua Levine
    Chief Executive Officer

    Joshua Levine has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our Board since October 2012. Mr. Levine brings global medical device industry experience in commercial and strategic marketing leadership, business development, and general management roles spanning three decades in the medical device industry. He has been President & CEO, and a director of two other publicly traded medical technology companies, including Mentor Corporation, a surgical implant/medical device manufacturer in the aesthetics space from 2004 to 2009, and prior to joining Accuray, with Immucor Corporation, a diagnostics manufacturer of automated instrumentation and reagents used in blood transfusion procedures. Mr. Levine currently serves as the non- executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Natus Medical Incorporated, a provider of medical device solutions focused on the diagnosis and treatment of central nervous and sensory system disorders. Mr. Levine holds a B.A. from the University of Arizona.

    • Suzanne Winter

      Suzanne Winter is the President of Accuray, bringing more than 30 years of experience. Ms. Winter has also been a member of our Board since April 2022. Prior to joining Accuray, Ms. Winter held senior executive roles spanning general management, commercial operations and business development across a range of healthcare industry segments, including radiology, neurology and surgery. Most recently, she served as Group Vice President – Americas region at Medtronic Diabetes where she was responsible for leading the 2,000 person commercial organization. Before Medtronic, Ms. Winter was the General Manager of GE Healthcare’s Detection and Guidance Solutions operations. Ms. Winter earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in chemistry from Saint Lawrence University in Canton, New York and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Business in Boston, Massachusetts.

      • Ali Pervaiz

        Ali Pervaiz
        Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

        Ali Pervaiz was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Accuray in May 2022. In his role as CFO, Mr. Pervaiz directs the global finance organization and oversees all aspects of Accuray Incorporated’s finance function. Mr. Pervaiz joined Accuray in August 2020 as Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, leading the transformation of the company’s business processes and driving revenue performance. During his 18 year career in the medical technology industry, Mr. Pervaiz has established a proven track record for delivering results and creating shareholder value.

        Prior to joining Accuray, Mr. Pervaiz was with GE Healthcare for over 15 years in senior financial and operating leadership roles. He began his finance career in GE's prestigious Corporate Audit Staff program, a rigorous multi-year rotation through different divisions used to groom future leaders before assuming increasing levels of responsibility within the Finance organization. Mr. Pervaiz previously held the roles of Chief Financial Officer for two GE Healthcare business units including the $1.3B US Imaging Equipment and $650M US Life Support Solutions business.

        Mr. Pervaiz received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a M.S. in Healthcare Technologies Management from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.

        • Scott Chapman

          Senior Vice President, Global Service

          Scott Chapman is the Senior Vice President of Global Service. In this role, he is responsible for leading customer support functions including field service, project management, technical and clinical support. These teams are focused on providing world-class product support and ensuring optimal product performance for customers worldwide. Chapman joined Accuray in 2014 as the Vice President of Americas Customer Support.

          Prior to joining Accuray, Chapman held a wide range of leadership roles at GE Healthcare and GE Industrial Systems. He is a graduate of several of GE’s leadership programs and a certified and experienced Six-Sigma Black Belt. Chapman holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado.

          • Jesse Chew

            Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
            Jesse Chew serves as our Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. In this role, he leads our global legal function. He joined Accuray in January 2014 as Corporate Counsel. Prior to that, Mr. Chew practiced corporate securities law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. from October 2007 to January 2014. Mr. Chew holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of California at Davis and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.
            • Michael Hoge

              Senior Vice President Global Operations
              Mike has over 30 years of industry experience in engineering and manufacturing with extensive background in product, process and supplier development. Mike holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Wisconsin – Madison and an MBA from Marquette University. In addition, Mike is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Prior to joining Accuray, Mike was with GE Healthcare for the past 20 years where he held various executive leadership roles of increasing responsibility including an assignment for three years based in Beijing China leading multi-plant operations across the Asia Pacific region. Earlier in his career, Mike worked in various engineering roles at Generac Corporation and Caterpillar.
              • Patrick Spine

                Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer

                Patrick Spine is the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, he will be responsible for the global human resources functions, information technology, and facilities, with a focus on transformation to further enhance the overall culture for high performance and scalable growth.

                Prior to joining Accuray, Patrick held multiple leadership positions and was previously with PRA Health Sciences as Vice President of Human Resources. During his six years with PRA, Spine was a key executive coach and led transformational projects to support the operational growth of the company from 4,000 employees to over 15,000, and a successful initial public offering. Other leadership positions include Director of Human Resources at Hospira, and multiple human resources roles with EATON. Over the course of his career, Spine has been instrumental in driving cultural changes for further operational success while implementing programs for sustainable growth. Spine brings a broad breadth of expertise in overall human resources management spanning diverse industries and small to large scale global operations.

                Spine earned his Masters of Science degree in Human Resources from LaRoche College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University.

                  Senior Vice President, Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs

                  Jim Dennison is the Senior Vice President of Global Quality & Regulatory Affairs, bringing more than 20 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs. In this role, he will lead overall quality and regulatory/government affairs, along with product compliance.

                  Prior to joining Accuray, Dennison served at GE Healthcare, most recently as Senior Executive Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Affairs. Dennison’s tenure with GE Healthcare spans nearly 15 years in various executive leadership roles in quality and regulatory affairs, guiding their imaging and overall healthcare businesses. He also has held leadership roles with Medtronic, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical and Baxter Healthcare.

                  Dennison earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biology from University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Keller Graduate School of Management.

                  • Sandeep Chalke

                    Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer

                    Sandeep Chalke is the Chief Commercial Officer at Accuray, bringing more than 25 years of medical device expertise in commercialization, business development and operations. In his role at Accuray Mr. Chalke will have responsibility for the global commercial, product development, R&D and engineering functions.

                    Prior to joining Accuray, Mr. Chalke was president, Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions at Vyaire Medical, a global respiratory care manufacturer, where he had full P&L responsibility along with oversight of select manufacturing sites. Prior to Vyaire, Mr. Chalke held various global leadership positions at Medtronic, Acelity, Inc. and GE Healthcare, where he led the development of new products and service solutions, established new markets and partnerships with government organizations and private payors to drive revenue growth, margin expansion and technology leadership.

                    Mr. Chalke earned an M.B.A. in International Marketing from Leicester University, United Kingdom and Medical Electronics Engineering, Bombay University, India.

                    • Jean-Philippe Pignol, M.D., PH.D.

                      Senior Vice President, Chief Medical and Technology Officer

                      Jean-Philippe Pignol is the Senior Vice President, Chief Medical and Technology Officer, bringing nearly three decades of leadership experience in the field of radiation oncology in a broad range of clinical and academic positions. In his role at Accuray, he leads global medical and scientific affairs, as well as product development, and is responsible for building strategic collaborations with healthcare networks, universities and research institutions, and commercial organizations, including technology start-ups.

                      As a board-certified radiation oncologist with a Ph.D. in nuclear physics, Prof. Pignol has practiced throughout North America and Europe while conducting pioneering clinical trials for breast cancers, and innovative research in medical physics. Prof. Pignol has published more than 125 peer-reviewed publications and has led a first demonstration of the clinical benefit of intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) through a multicenter phase III trial. As the chair of radiation oncology in several academic centers — including Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada — he has developed a renowned reputation for the development of innovative radiotherapy solutions in close collaboration between universities and industry partners, to conduct clinical trials, create and deliver new technologies, working on scientific advisory boards to advance best practices in the field.
